Dietary Supplement (according to Act No. 110/1997 Coll. § 1 paragraph 1 (g)):

A food supplement is a foodstuff intended to supplement an ordinary diet and which is a concentrated source of vitamins and minerals or other substances with a nutritional or physiological effect, contained in a foodstuff, alone or in combination, for direct Consumption in small measured quantities. '  Dietary supplements are not drugs, they only help to maintain the organism in normal condition or. Complement the missing vitamins and minerals that the body itself does not produce. The dietary supplement does not have the properties of prevention, care, treatment or cure of human diseases.
